I've been busy getting this done!

Other than that, i have been trying to recover from one hell of a surgery! Damn this one is painful! I can barely get my ass up off the chair without screaming! But, I've had lots of people helping me!

Danielle, my nurse/nanny has been on the job! She helps me with whatever i need. Tonight as i came into my room to sit i found a note on the chair "Mom, look on your table, love Danielle" so i look on my table and there's a letter from her "Dear Mom, I fixed your recliner for you. There is two pillows and a blanket. P.S. I cleared your table and put everything away. PPS I put away your laptop. PPPS I love you lots and your the best mom ever PPPPS I fixed everything so you can sleep good. Love you so much. Love Danielle!" Isn't she the best?

Quick post...

I am finally home! I went in for surgery early Thursday morning. The doctors said that everything went well. They got all of the tumor removed and were able to keep my spleen. The tumor will go to the pathologist on Tuesday and i will find out the results in a week or so. From what he could tell, the Dr. said it looks 99.9% benign!

I came home from the hospital Friday night. I was scheduled to be discharged at noon. They did my routine/post-op blood work and my hemoglobin dropped 2 points in an hour. They took me in to Cat Scan to check for internal bleeding. They said the CT came back normal so i was able to come home.

Mom drove me home (OY the bumps!)and i was greeted by my court. I swear i was run over by a bus at some point. Even though this was one of my "minor" surgeries it felt like it was "major". I have never been in so much pain. One of my incisions is on my back and that one hurts like hell!

My nursemaid (Danielle) has been great. She wouldn't go to sleep until i was asleep. She even said "Mommy, you are not allowed to go outside alone. If you need a smoke just wake me up and i will take you there!" She has been by my side since i walked in. Fluffing pillows, changing blankets, fixing my hair and making me drink water (blech!). So, i gave her some time off :) and she is playing at Katie's. Tommy just fed Hannah and layed her down for a nap and Danny is cooking. So, that's my cue to go take a nap! Wouldn't want the nurse coming home and yelling at me!

I'm in hell...

Meatball hell that is!

This is what i was up to ALL DAY yesterday! Along with the 9 gazillion meatballs, i also made two pots of gravy! My house smelled so yummy. But, by the end of the night i was so grossed out by the meat and sauce and such that i ordered a pizza!!! At one point i had 6 girls sitting in my kitchen rolling meatballs. I have never seen kids so excited to help cook. Katie is always right up there in my face ready to help! Her mama don't cook!! (Hi Kay!) So every chance she gets she will spend forever in my kitchen helping. And you know that works out for Kay too! She left here with dinner for her and Kev!!

So why a gazillion meatballs you ask? Well, according to my lovely brother, "Why hire a caterer when you have Dad and Carrie?" So as I'm sitting here gagging at the smell of this food, Dad is now cutting twenty pounds of Italian Sausage and peppers and making mostacolli! Today is Roberts housewarming party! Speaking of that, i have a photo to frame!

Every Christmas Bobby gives me a picture of himself! I have his pics all over my house. So, what should i give him for his housewarming? A picture of ME of course. This is the picture i framed for him. But, I'm not actually GIVING it to him. I am going to put it in his house somewhere so he will eventually see it!! HA HA HA!

Well, children and mommy needs to bathe, car needs to be packed and coffee needs to be drunk! Update tomorrow with pictures from Bobby's!

Ok, i think i am finally, almost getting the hang of my new fangled freaking camera! The Negotiator and I have decided that we are going to be bug-togrophers! (New word, should be put in the dictionary) So, here are some samples of our mad skills...

School's Back In Session!!

So this week all the kids started skool!! Yeah!!!!! I actually got to sit on my porch and read a book in complete silence. I had no girls begging for a trip to 7-11, no kickball arguments and no begging for Mario! (Speaking of Mario, "The Negotiator" and I are on the last level of Mario 1!!!!!!!!!! We will beat it soon enough if you were wondering!)

So, since Tuesday my house has been pretty much SPOTLESS! No kids have been trampling in and out all day, no teenagers (and the protector) eating all my food in the basement! My porch has been minus "The Court" since Monday! All the kids are in the house by 730!! WooHoo!!

You wouldn't believe how much i have accomplished on Hannah's album this week. I ran to Michael's over the weekend and got the new "Rockstar" collection which i am loving. I went to Target (twice) yesterday and got tons of new chipboard for $1 in the dollar spot! (so get your ass in gear Siobhan!)

This weekend is the St. Margaret Mary's Chuckwagon. Danny has cooked for it for as far back as i can remember. Fadder, Ang and The Tuna might come and visit. It's supposed to only be in the 70's this weekend. I am sick of this hot weather.

Next weekend is Robert's housewarming party. I have 200 freaking meatballs to roll and cook. That should be fun dontcha think? I think I'm gonna "hire" The Negotiator to help. I feed that kid enough! He owes me. But the only downside of that is he might he more than he cooks!! I already gave Robert his gift. (See Pic) It's called a "Vintage Shadow Box". I thought it was kinda weird but dad said he had it saved to his favorites! He said he put it on the wall right when you walk into his house. Everyone who has seen it says it looks nice!

Well, football season has officially started. I finally gave in and bought Danny the Olin Kreutz jersey that he has been begging for! The day he got it, he put it on, stole the negotiator's jewelry and ghetto-posed for us!

T and I have been playing with the settings on my camera. Here is the picture we finally got (after a million shoots) of the moon the other night. We are learning!
